Abandon Post

Posted by: Rocket Queen In: Self

I have been abandoning this thing.

I didn’t really want to admit it but the white empty ‘add new post’ screen is glaring at me in the face. I have so many places where I write. I have 3 online journals – two only known to me and one friends only. One journal is written in Malay. It’s actually funny to read the train of my thoughts in Bahasa. I only write in there when I am truly truly devastated, which was often before I found a boyfriend. Another was open to public once before I realized someone I know read it too. And now I use it to write measly update when I am bored writing for readers. It feels liberating to actually write about how much I hate anything/anyone without bothering about being judged.

Other than that I also have a ‘design+E/N’ blog where I put up pictures of stuff that I find interesting or funny or beautiful and also words and quotes or videos and lyrics… anything that I feel like putting up actually. It’s actually quite secret but I’ve been getting a lot of followers and I am curious as to why. But I loved it all the same. I also have a workout blog with a set of workout bloggers I follow; I actually enjoy writing in there because I get to talk about my sports without sounding like a poseur. Then I have a shared blog with someone most people know online and offline, on our love of writing. We challenge each other to write about this or that using various styles – the most famous was posting a picture and then writing a story based on that. It’s hardly visited but I’ll never put an end to it.

That is all the internet space where I write. I do have tons of online accounts. I have an account on a website that talks about being a lover of colors. You can create your own color palette and name them; naming is my favorite part. I have an account of the things I want to do in my life. I actually update it often and give advices on many things that I have done. I have an account where you write down list of daily things to do and they will email you – I hardly use this. I have a twitter, but before that I used to plurk. Plurk actually has a more interactive and fun interface I am surprised why it isn’t famous. I have an account of the books I read. I have an account of the hostels I travelled on and will travel to. I have a knitting account, which works just like my sewing account. They have open project and tutorials and you can list your tools. My favorite is my sports account; you can list down your workout and you can write down how far you’ve gone to in how many minutes and the effort it took and the gears you used and the weather, etc etc. It automatically calculates your heart rate and the calories burned. The best thing is that it has a tool that you can map your runs. You can map it beforehand so you know where to run for 10km.

Other than that I’m pretty active in certain forums too. But I’m not going to go there – you’d be surprised at the kind of forums I go to these days.

I love circusitch. It’s been with me for quite some time. I’ve hosted people and now I’m pretty much alone with the exception of jack, who’s pretty much nonexistent. Well, he got married so obviously blogging is out. I wish I know why was it I stopped updating here often but I don’t. I guess I am getting pretty busy with work. Also, it’s just not interactive. I’ve always loved interaction with readers. That being said, I do love the emails I got, either through the form on the left or through my email add. I don’t think I left anyone out, but if I forgot to reply to any of you I’m truly sorry. You could always write to me again.

I’m going to try and update this more often. Start again, from scratch. Luck!
